Discover the ancient Japanese art of braiding cords, otherwise known as Kumihimo. This plate measures 5.5" x 5.5" and is made of 3/8" dense foam. The plate produces a square or flat braid depending on how you set up the strands. It is sturdy and will hold the threads firmly as you braid and because it is portable, you can easily take your projects almost anywhere.
