Refund & Shipping Policies

In store:

Please choose your purchases carefully. We do not offer refunds unless a product is defective, but exchanges can be offered at our discretion. Exchanges must be made within 14 days of purchase and a valid receipt is required.


Please Note: We cannot accept any opened packages or strands, cut product (chain, leather etc.), or sale items for exchange.

Online:

If you need to return an item, please email us at info@thatbeadlady.com for return authorization. We will accept the product return providing it meets the parameters and is within 14 days of receipt for a full refund to the original form of payment. Shipping charges are non-refundable. Items past our 14-day return date will not be accepted unless defective. When mailing your return please include all unwanted items in their original condition and make sure to include a copy of your packing slip with the returned items noted. Failure to include the packing slip will delay your refund and result in a 25% restocking fee. Pack items in padded envelope and ship at your expense to the address provided below. We cannot issue a refund for any items that are damaged during return transit. We recommend you send your items with tracking confirmation.

Please note, the following items are non-returnable: opened packages or strands, cut product (chain, leather etc.), kits, patterns and sale items.

Delayed, Missing, or Lost Packages

If you are experiencing a delay or suspect your order is missing, please contact us to verify that your package was sent to the correct address. If you have any changes or concerns about your shipping address after you have placed an order, let us know as soon as possible. If the order is shipped to the wrong address, we must wait until it’s returned to us to re-ship it.

It doesn’t happen very often but sometimes an order is not delivered on time. This happens due to circumstances beyond our control such as weather, natural disasters, or postal service error. We do our best to assist with locating a delayed package. The first thing you should do when you have not received your tracked package within the time frame expected is to contact your local post office with your tracking information.

Sometimes an order is lost or misplaced during transit. It rarely happens but it can occur. We will do everything we can to locate the package and get it moving again. In extremely rare instances a package never arrives. If, after 6 weeks of searching the package still does not show up, we will offer to replace. If your order was not received because shipping information provided during checkout was incorrect, this policy will not apply.

For both USA and International orders, the processing and transit times do not include additional time created by any customs inspections that may occur. This delay would be beyond our control.

Missing/Damaged

If you receive a package that has missing, defective, or incorrect items please call 905 954 1327 or email info@thatbeadlady.com within 14 days of receipt. Please include your order number, your full name, contact information and a short description of the problem. We will respond in a timely manner to enquire about and resolve any problems.

Out of Stock Items

Sometimes product may be backordered from our vendors. In the event that we are out of an item, we will contact you to discuss the options, which include waiting for a complete shipment of your order, a partial shipment, or a credit for the missing product.

Cancelling an Order

If you change your mind about your order, we can cancel it only BEFORE we ship it. Please contact us immediately if you decide to cancel your order info@thatbeadlady.com or 905 954 1327. If the order has already left our premises, you can refuse delivery and return it. All orders shipped and refused will be charged a 25% restocking fee plus our original cost to ship the order to you. We will refund the balance to the original form of payment once we receive the returned order.

 


 

Pricing Policy:

All prices are in Canadian dollars. We are a retail store, and a retail online store. Online customers may receive discount codes on occasion. Discounts and sales offered in store and advertised as “in store only” in newsletters are not available to online shoppers. Our in-store customer loyalty program is meant to encourage in store shopping and is not available online. Your online purchases will not be added to your in-store point totals.

 


 

Shipping Policy:

General:

Once you place an online order with us you will receive an e-mail confirming we received your order. You will receive a second e-mail when your order is picked.
A third email will follow letting you know how your order was shipped and with a Canada Post tracking number if applicable. Check your spam or junk folder for your shipping confirmation if you don’t see it within a reasonable period of time.
We fill and ship orders Tuesday through Friday. Most orders will be shipped within 2 working days. Please Note: Orders containing HyperLynks chainmail products will ship within 5 working days. Please note during the holiday season and when we have online sales, it may take us a little longer to get orders shipped out. We appreciate your understanding.

For Canadian Addresses:

For orders of $80.00 CDN and over before tax, shipping is free and orders will be shipped by Expedited Post (with tracking).

  • For all orders under $80.00 CDN before tax, a flat fee of $8.00 CDN will be charge and orders will be sent by Regular Post (no tracking).

NOTE: PDF patterns are not considered a shippable item and do not count towards order totals.

For USA Addresses:

  • For orders under $50.00 CDN before tax, a flat fee of $7.50 CDN will be charged and orders will be sent by Regular Post (no tracking).
  • For orders of $50.00 CDN to less than $100.00 CDN before tax, a flat fee of $10.00 CDN will be charged and orders will be sent by Regular Post (no tracking).
  • For orders of $100.00 CDN and over before tax, shipping is free and orders will be shipped by Expedited Post (with tracking).

NOTE: PDF patterns are not considered a shippable item and do not count towards order totals.

Customs: Any taxes, duties or import fees assessed by customs are the responsibility of the recipient. Invoices will be included with packages as postal and import/export regulations require. We cannot divide a single large order into multiple smaller orders or alter Customs forms to indicate ‘gift’ status to avoid Customs taxes and duties.

For International Addresses:

  • For orders under $50.00 CDN before tax, a flat fee of $9.00 CDN will be charged.
  • For orders of $50.00 CDN to less than $100.00 CDN before tax, a flat fee $14.00 CDN will be charged.
  • For orders of $100.00 CDN and over before tax, a flat fee of $16.50 CDN will be charged.

NOTE: PDF patterns are not considered a shippable item and do not count towards order totals.

Customs: Any taxes, duties or import fees assessed by customs are the responsibility of the recipient. Invoices will be included with packages as postal and import/export regulations require.
