Beading on the Jewel Loom (In-Person) - Saturday, July 27th. 11:00am-4:00pm EDT

Using a loom to create beading has been around for a long time. The resulting fabric of beads is supple and beautiful. In this series of classes, we’ll discuss looms, warps and wefts and how to remove the beadwork from the loom and finishing. Instructions will include various patterns.

Materials you will need for this class:

~ One Jewel Loom

~ A variety of size 8/0 seed beads (Miyuki brand recommended)

~ About 25 size 11/0 seed beads (for finishing; you won’t see them)

~clasp of choice

~ A spool Toho or Nymo brand beading thread

~ A long big-eye needle or a beading needle designed for loom work
