African Beads

All of our African beads are handmade and fair trade. They are sourced from a number of countries within Africa, including Ghana and Kenya. Artisans in Africa have been making glass beads and perfecting their craft for 100s of years. Glass beads from Africa have a lovely handmade quality and often feature beautiful colours and patterns. Brass and Wood are other common materials you will find in this section, these work great for mixing and matching. 

Please note: you will find the occasional product in this category that is from a country outside Africa, such as Indonesia or Nepal. These are all clearly labeled in their descriptions.
