Japanese Delica seed beads are a uniformed cylinder bead, consistent in size with flat ends and a fairly large hole. Mainly used for bead weaving, on or off loom beading. A peyote stitch uses approximately 285 beads per square inch. Size 15 - measures 1.3 x 1 mm, hole size of .7 mm, approximately 350 beads per gram. Size 11 - measures 1.6 x 1.5 mm, hole size of .8 mm, approximately 200 beads per gram. Size 10 - measures 2.3 x 1.2 mm, hole size of 1 mm, approximately 108 beads per gram. Size 8 - measures 2.5 x 2.5 mm, hole size of 1.5 mm, approximately 30 beads per gram.
